nickhudkins Yeah. Google has Bazel too. We’re doing a lot to cut build times. My understanding is swift generics / protocol conformance really slow the builds. And I’m not about to give up the cool part of the damn language.On twitter.com

nickhudkins My theory is it’s death by a thousand cuts. So fixing it all at once is pretty daunting. We need better build tools, some sort of better strategy, a faster compiler, faster build machines, and a way to build less code per build.
