    realEDdoc @BrowofJustice You can blame Edison for that one I think. He set the standard for lighting in the US. Even if he wanted 100 DC, and we picked 110/120Vac-RMS which is half of a 220/240V tap. Horsepower is just a garbage unit. Use Watts. 😀 As an EE grad I am 100% metric.
